Bluesound is beatuful and smooth but not that as detail as geshelli. modi 3 is a really nice budget dac, a lot better than budget level (like yamaha as 501) embedded dac, but compare the other two, it's too balanced and natural. the donwsides for geshelli is: it's slow. you have to wait for maybe around 1 month to get it. I've had my j2 since november (ak chip). i really like this dac i was considering much higher cost options (in the 900 1400 range). i am more than happy with this purchase (350 w the chip usb module and cedar upgrade). mine does have an issue but, geshelli has been great to work with to resolve the problem.
